Bishop Auckland Street Food Markets are back

The Bishop Auckland Street Food Market, produced by Baccanalia & Bridge Creative, returns for the third year transforming the marketplace into a culinary showcase on the last Friday of every month.

These vibrant markets boost local economies offering a platform to champion local produce and foster a sense of unity among residents. With a focus on supporting local businesses and artisans, these events are all about nurturing community spirit and showcasing the best of what County Durham has to offer.

Acting as a cornerstone for local communities, Baccanalia’s street food markets will feature an array of delectable offerings from various traders, alongside local beers and ales on tap, live performances by talented local musicians, and family activities, all contributing to the festive ambiance.

“The Bishop Auckland Street Food Market exemplifies a community united to celebrate and showcase the diversity of food offerings and talent in the North East.”

–  Thomas Wales, Baccanalia.

“We’re so excited to bring our Street Food Market back to Bishop Auckland again this year. The event also gives us the opportunity to support adults with learning disabilities and autism to gain work experience. It’s an all-round winner!”

Ben Tinkler, Bridge Creative.

Baccanalia extends thanks to Bishop Auckland Town Council for making these markets possible.
