Through the Future High Street Fund and Stronger Towns Fund, the derelict former prize bingo and amusement arcade was demolished to make way for new public realm space.
After successfully acquiring the former amusement arcade on North Bondgate, planning consent was granted to demolish the building to make way for new public realm improvements in its place.
A mixture of both soft and hard landscaping now provide a clear link to Fore Bondgate and North Bondgate, encouraging footfall to the town centre.
The project was completed by March 2025.
